Course Objective:
This course purpose to bring in knowledge about Calligraphy which is a visual art related to writing. It is the design and execution of lettering with a broad tip instrument, brush, or other writing instruments. A contemporary calligraphic practice can be defined as “the art of giving form to signs in an expressive, harmonious, and skillful manner”.
Course Syllabus
Detail study of one of the various calligraphic schools (European, Indian Gothic, Roman, etc.) Principles of typography, Creative lettering & Calligraphy.
Creative Calligraphy- Experimented lettering & Calligraphy for the invention of new typefaces.
